His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Salman, the Governor of Madinah, visited the Knowledge Economic City and launching company’s projects.
KEC honored in the grant visit of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, the governorate of Madinah, to its headquarters in Madinah in Monday the 15th Ramadan 1437 corresponds to 20 June 2016. His Royal Highness sponsored the Knowledge Economic City’s International Medical Center project launch in its phase I, he also visited Dar AlMadinah Museum groomed by KEC.
The alliance between the Knowledge Economic City Company and Madinah Chamber of Commerce signing ceremony was also sponsored by His Royal Highness in addition to that HRH witnessed the purchase of a lot in the Knowledge Economic City for the purpose of Madinah Chamber of Commerce Building Development.
During the meeting the Knowledge Economic City’s CEO, Eng. Khaled Al Telmesani made a speech welcoming His Royal Highness and expressing the company’s appreciation and gratitude for his honored visit and sponsorship of the ceremony, Eng. Khaled also demonstrated a detailed presentation about the company’s future projects that are intended to be undertaken on its land of 7 million square meters space on King Abdulaziz motorway’ both sides and such urgent projects will be implemented soon. Among those projects is the Phase II of the projects villas construction (the closed Dar Al Jewar – neighborhood housing) residential area that is considered the first closed residential area in the holy city of Madinah, in which is an extension of the company’s first residential project. The project’s phase I was highly demandable by the company’s clients. Eng. Khaled also stated that the company has completed the necessary studies on the Knowledge Park project that is intended for construction in the nearest part to the holy mosque of Madinah, and it contained several knowledge projects, the company is currently working on drawing detailed studies of each phase in the project components.
In addition to the Dar Al Ahd, Dar Al Abrar residential projects that are targeting different categories of residents, as well as the Commercial Souq (market) project, in which in its design considers the heritage and features of the holy city of Madinah and at the same time the civilization that introduces new shopping experiences, exhibitions commercial projects was also introduced at the Knowledge Economic City’s Entrances in both sides of King Abdulaziz Road at the area that is parallel to the train station area on the runway of Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Airport, being honored with his royal highness support made to the Knowledge City company to proceed and complete such projects.
The Knowledge City’s CEO also addressed the infrastructure projects and the readiness of IMC-Madinah land, and also the mutual alliance between the IMC and the KEC managements to provide for an integrated medical services that is best fit for the Holy City of Madinah, Eng. Khaled also expressed the Company’s gratitude to his royal highness for the his sponsorship and blessing in launching the project’s phase I.
In connection to this matter Dr. Waleed Ftaihi, the Chairman and CEO of IMC made a speech expressing his appreciation to the His Royal Highness Faisal Bin Salman for his support and guidance in streamlining the IMC-Madinah project launch and the continuous follow-up on the project, Dr. Ftaihi stated that this is the first expansion project made for the IMC outside of Jeddah where we have established our first hospital, and we will be honored having it in the holy city of Prophet Mohammed pace be upon him, considering and appreciating the importance of this place and the blessing of the prophet in this area. Dr. Ftaihi also spoke about the potential medical center construction and its departments that will contain number of specialized clinics, diagnosing centers and one day operation centers with international and modern high standards utilizing Jeddah’s IMC capacity and abilities to serve the project and transformation of experiences.
In a speech made by the Knowledge City’ CEO, he addressed the alliance mutual agreement that will be signed between the Knowledge City Company and Madinah Chamber of Commerce and industry in which the two parties will cooperate in their specialized domains as the Knowledge Economic City will render all the technical support to the Chamber of Commerce in the Construction Project of its facilities in the city, such technical supports shall include the technical studies, consultation and project management, and to also utilize the company’s database and contractors prequalification archive, the two parties shall also facilitate all development and investment opportunities that can serve the Madinah area economics in the conferences, forums, training, education and knowledge aspects, and to also develop and provide for an environment that can groom the small and middle market entrepreneurship alongside with the leading businesses. The CEO also stated that the signing ceremony of the alliance memorandum is one of the company’s strategies to establish for strategic alliance partnerships that can support the company’s different areas and particularly in the area of knowledge industries.
Following to that his Royal highness Prince Faisal Bin Salman also witnessed the IMC Project land receipt by both CEOs of the Knowledge City and IMC, in addition to the signing ceremony of the strategic alliance memorandum with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as the It was represented by Mr. Muneer Mohammed Naser the chairman of Madinah Chamber of Commerce. His highness also witnessed the Chamber of Commerce HQ development land purchase contract signing ceremony which will be located in the entrance of the Knowledge City on the right hand side of King Abdulaziz Road towards the holy mosque of Madinah on a space of 5,532 SQM.
At the end of visit to the Knowledge Economic City, HRH Prince Faisal launched Dar AlMadinah Museum expansion project located in Diwan AlMarifa (KEC) in its headquarters, His Royal Highness visited many areas of the museum, where a briefing was introduced by Dr. Abdulaziz Kaki the Museum owner and founder, to His Royal Highness exploring the models that shapes the biography of Prophet Mohammed pace be upon him prior and post to his immigration to Madinah.
At the end of His Royal Highness visit in which was also honored with many figures, VIPs and businessmen, the company’ CEO expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HRH Prince Faisal Bin Salman the Governorate of Madinah Area for his visit and prayed for the Saudi Arabian leadership in particular and all Muslims and Islamic Countries in General.
